Today in Europe: On April 25, 2026, the European Space Agency (ESA) dramatically dismantled the Russian Soyuz rocket launch site in Kourou, French Guiana, with a controlled explosion of a 52-meter mobile service tower. This decisive action effectively ended joint European-Russian space missions at the site.
