Artist Lajos Vajda feels audacious by reading the news: On August 28, 2026, two audacious thieves in Vienna, Austria, reportedly stole a priceless 200-carat platinum and diamond necklace, once belonging to Egyptian royalty, from the Museum of Applied Arts during opening hours. The unmasked men used a hammer to smash a display case before fleeing with the valuable jewelry.
