Artist Oskar Kokoschka feels unsettling by reading the news: On October 8, 2026, Ukrainian investigative journalist Mykhailo Tkach was detained in Austria on suspicion of espionage, according to Austrian Interior Minister Gerhard Karner. Tkach has since been released, but his cameraman, Yaroslav Bondarenko, remains in custody.
